How I Work

When I meet a client or student for the first time, I offer a free trial lesson so they can experience how I conduct my Swahili sessions.

Initial Consultation and Rates

For first-time prospective clients, I offer a free trial lesson along with a consultation to discuss your needs and determine whether I’m the right person to help. This session lasts up to one hour (45 minutes for the free trial lesson and 15 minutes for discussion). It can take place via phone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or in person.

Only the first class is free. After that, you’ll need to select one of the following packages to begin your course.

My hourly rates are negotiable for groups of more than four students.

All clients must sign my agreement form before the course begins.

Payment

Invoices are issued under the following payment terms:

Payment must be made in full before the course begins.
Accepted payment methods include electronic transfer, business bank account, mobile money transfer, PayPal, and the WorldRemit app.
All invoices are in USD or TZS and must be paid in those currencies.
I am not registered for VAT.
All prices are exclusive of tax.

Client Location

I work with clients from anywhere in the world, primarily English speakers.

I also collaborate with international organizations, companies, and local institutions.

Working Hours

My working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (EAT), Monday to Saturday, including public holidays.

My work email and phone are available 24 hours a day.

Working with Others / Institutions

I’m open to collaborating with other language schools, universities, colleges, and educational institutions to share and build experience, knowledge, and skills.

Subcontracting and Agencies

I regularly work with agencies that subcontract work to me. I’m happy to either communicate directly with clients or manage everything through the agency, depending on what’s preferred.

Remote Working

I am based in Arusha, Tanzania, and work from both my office and home. This setup allows me to perform my job effectively and support clients around the world.

I am also available to meet clients in person within Arusha City. A travel fee of $10 is charged for in-person meetings at your requested location.
